Canberra certainly does have an abundance of butterflies at the moment! Apparently due to the drought and then all the rain we had last year we have an unusual amount of butterflies, mosquitos and spiders -(I agree with all that!) but apparently we have a shortage of wasps???? Maybe who ever does these surveys should come and sit in my backyard for 10mins! There is definitely no shortage of wasps there! I knocked down another nest today - this time intentionally and no stings!!
The top one would make a great picture for a card.
